Installation
JemetiOS is fully hosted — there is nothing to install. You sign up, pick a workspace name, and you're ready to work in your browser.
1. Create your workspace
Sign up at register.jemeti.app. The signup is a 3-step flow:
- Account — your name, email, and password.
- Workspace — your workspace URL (the subdomain you'll log into) and your shop name (what customers see).
- Plan — pick Pro or Enterprise, choose a payment method, and complete checkout. Your workspace provisions immediately.
Once checkout completes, you land on the provisioning status page.
You can watch it set up DNS, configure roles, and go live. When the
status flips to Ready, you'll be redirected into your workspace at
<your-workspace>.jemeti.app.
2. Log in for the first time
After your workspace is ready, log in at <your-workspace>.jemeti.app
with the email and password you registered.
You'll land on the Dashboard — a real-time summary of your shop (users, inventory, sales, accounting) that updates every 30 seconds.
3. Add your team
Invite technicians, service advisors, and managers from Settings → Users. Each invitee gets an email with a one-time link to set their password and create their account.
| Role | Suggested starting view |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything (full access) |
| Admin | All areas except deactivation |
| Service advisor | Intake, quotes, customer comms |
| Mechanic | Bay floor + assigned jobs |
| Manager | Reports, P&L, scheduling |
JemetiOS ships with six system roles (owner, admin, manager,
staff, mechanic, viewer) and lets you build custom roles with
fine-grained feature :: sub_feature :: action permissions from
Settings → Roles.
4. Configure your shop
Before your first job, set up a few basics:
- Bays —
Workshop → Bays. Add one bay per physical lift or work area. Bay names appear on the live Bay Floor view. - Service Catalog —
Workshop → Services. Define the services you offer (oil change, brake job, etc.), with labour time and pricing. - Vendors & Products —
Inventory → VendorsandProducts. Add your suppliers and the parts you stock. - Payment Accounts —
Settings → Payment Accounts. Add the cash, bank, and card accounts you'll reconcile against. - Workspace branding —
Settings → Workspace. Logo, brand color, shop address, business registration numbers.
5. Invite your first customer
Go to CRM → Customers → New. Add a customer, then optionally link a
vehicle to them from Vehicles → Customer Vehicles. With customers
in place, you're ready to open your first job.
